Primarily addressing the increasing crime rates amongst children and adolescents between Drumcondra and East Wall in Dublin, the project proposes a children's and young adults library on Gloucester Place.

With an extensive programme on a relatively tight footprint in a residential area, the design attempts to attune a playful dialogue with the surrounding houses. The aim was ultimately for young people to associate the library with an informal, if not homely, environment rather than a stern, uninviting (and uninvited) institution.

The project was a recipient of the Oculus Student Prize 2016.
